Low Tide Designs is a full-service, professional design firm, established to provide diverse, high quality, and reliable design services. As a group of highly motivated and talented professionals, we strive to identify issues, solve problems, and meet the client’s needs.

Sam Liberti Owner
Sam has been designing homes in the Augusta area, Coastal Georgia and South Carolina, since 1984. He is a Certified Professional Building Designer, Current National President and professional member of the American Institute of Building design(AIBD), and a professional member of the institute of Classical Architecture. He has 24 years experience in the construction and building materials industry, and incorporates that knowledge into his projects, bringing clients the latest information about technological improvements that would benefit a home’s design.

Brian Jasko
Brian has been part of the home building construction field since 1993. He set out as a carpenter’s apprentice for a builder in Northeast Ohio, where he learned the mechanics of building construction. The knowledge he gained through his years of building experience allowed for a graceful transition into the design field. Beginning in 1999, Brian has acquired creative dexterity in custom home design at a architectural firm based in Cleveland, Ohio. He has since ventured south arriving at Low Tide Designs in 2005. In 2005 Brian also achieved the title of Professional Building Designer with the American Institute of Building Design. Our diverse experience is more than just the sum of years and clients, it is a history of problems solved, skills acquired and lessons learned.

Low Tide Designs is a vertically oriented company, that is, organized for a single point-of-contact relationship between client and designer which serves to maximize responsiveness to client-specific needs. This type of internal structure allows for team communication, in lieu of a traditionally departmentalized company where vital information may be lost in the conveyance from one department head to another. The same designer carries a project through the building delivery process from concept through design development and construction documentation to completion. This provides a high level of commitment to ensure that each and every commission achieves both creative and technical excellence.

It is also our practice to utilize consulting, mechanical, electrical, civil, and structural engineers who are selected based on their experience and ability to meet the requirements of a particular project. We feel engineering in-house often provides routine solutions and can lack the depth and creativity to develop efficient and effective systems. To this end we work with companies that have the necessary experience and share our commitment to properly servicing the special needs of a project.
